Job Description

The role
The successful candidate will manage our growing network at Science Creates, and help develop lasting partnerships, delivering value to the startups within our two science incubators. This includes reviewing and managing our current partnerships e.g. law, accountancy, patent attorneys, HR etc, and planning, organising and helping to deliver relevant workshops, webinars, and events. The Head of Innovation and Partnerships will create, develop and launch programs and workshops to support early stage deep tech companies. The role will be responsible for growing our sponsorship revenue, as well as leading grant writing with syndicate partners, to provide tailored programs across a variety of stages of entrepreneurship, from undergraduate to established businesses.
The role holder will report to the CEO and will be required to work both autonomously and as part of the Science Creates Incubators team.

Experience
Essential:
- Experience in a similar role - managing, communicating and organising external parties
  • Experience delivering and organising workshops and webinars

Desirable:
  • Experience working in a small, start-up team
  • Experience working in an incubator or accelerator
  • Background in acceleration and incubation programs for deep tech startups
  • Financial understanding around grants and sponsorships
  • Experience writing grants
